Although the official GVWR on the 2nd Gen Tundra is not much different than on your 06 theres plenty of anecdotal evidence that the safety margin over that official GVWR is much much greater on the 07s and newer. I was reading through the thread if anyone else has posted with a similar truck but didnt find it.
